Our whole house system utilizes three 20" housings with eight stages of filtration total:1) sediment; 2) 1 micron pad + KDF 55 + KDF 85 + ion resin + granular carbon + 1 micron pad; 3) solid carbon. This system can take care of up to 160,000 gallons or more, depending on your water quality.
There are replacement cartridges available to refresh the system inexpensively.If the source water is not too problematic, our system produces a slightly alkaline water, which is more healthful than reverse osmosis or distilled water. Our purified water is normally very good for humans and pets, as well as for both indoor and outdoor plants.Our system removes heavy metals like lead, mercury, even iron, if these are not excessive. It eliminates pesticides, fertilizers and other organic chemicals. It destroys most bacteria.
Our system leaves in the lighter dissolved minerals like calcium and magnesium.
The suggested retail for our whole house system is $599, but our low price is just $299 plus $18 shipping. Someone with plumbing skills would be needed to install the unit. It is a simple plumbing procedure.
If you are on treated city water, our system should do a really good job for you, including taking care of the toxic chlorine almost all cities add to kill bacteria and algae.If you are on well water, and your hardness, iron, and hydrogen sulfide
are not excessive, the system should greatly improve your water. This system will not remove hardness (dissolved solids of calcium and magnesium), although it does condition them for better cleaning of clothes, dishes, skin and hair.(If you want to add a water softener, we have them available.)
